Sallie Key turned 1 on August 15 - I can't believe how fast this first year has gone by! We had her birthday party at Moon Lake. Sadly, she got her first ear infection the day before so you can tell in the pictures she is not feeling too fabulous. She got her first tooth a few weeks ago, and now she has two cute little bottom teeth. She took her first steps on my grandmother's ("Pretty") birthday, August 9. She doesn't walk all the time (I think she likes crawling b/c she can get where she's going so much faster), but this weekend she walked all the way across the living room by herself!
She's my heart. I am so proud of everything she does, but also sad at times that she is growing up and now more like a little girl than a baby.
This weekend my sisters came to visit so she loved playing with Aunt Ashley and Aunt KK. She really likes to be the center of attention - such a show off! She did NOT get that trait from her mom or dad!
We will be taking her to the Grove for the Alabama game - her first Ole Miss experience! Can't wait!
